PASS Contract Negotiations Information

April 15, 2007

As of this time, all PASS contract negotiations are at a standstill until the FLRA makes a decision as to the last appeal by the FAA. If you wish further information, go to PASS National's website or contact your local union official.

August 03, 2006

This morning the secret ballots were counted in connection with the ratification vote concerning the tentatively agreed upon contract for employees represented by PASS in the Technical Operations (formerly Airway Facilities) bargaining unit. With a record voter turn out, the final margin was not close, with 98 percent of the members voting casting a "NO" vote for the new agreement.

      The AFL-CIO Supports Us!    "What does labor want? We want more schoolhouses and less jails; more books and less arsenals; more learning and less vice; more leisure and less greed; more justice and less revenge; in fact, more of the opportunities to cultivate our better natures, to make manhood more noble, womanhood more beautiful, and childhood more happy and bright." Samuel Gompers    Union workers should have a voice concerning labor conditions.

It is one of the characteristics of a free and democratic nation that is have free and independent labor unions. --- Franklin D. Roosevelt ---

Labor disgraces no man; unfortunately, you occasionally find men who disgrace labor.
----- Ulysses Simpson Grant -----

The man who wins is the average man,
Not built on any particular plan;
Not blessed with any particular luck –
Just steady and earnest and full of pluck.
The man who wins is the man who works,
Who neither labor nor trouble shirks;
Who uses his hands, his head, his eyes-
The man who wins is the man who tries.
----- Conrad Hilton , from autobiography "Be My Guest" , 1957 -----
